I’m very excited to announce that tomorrow I will be traveling to the US to attend the NAS (National Arts Strategies) Homecoming event in Maryland! This event is the first of its kind, and includes the full gathering of the UK and US Creative Communities Fellowship cohort of cultural leaders. The event is hosted at the Pearlstone retreat centre; a venue located just outside Baltimore. The retreat is designed to offer a collective space where cultural leaders can share strategic and creative ideas to create change for more inclusive and equitable arts, museums, heritage environments.

I’m looking forward to re-connecting with the inspiring peers from the UK cohort, and also networking with cultural leaders attending from the US and beyond. My gratitude to NAS for their invitation and to Derby Museums for introducing the program in the UK.
