The Cube at BEAF 2019

I’m thrilled to announce that I will exhibit a new sculpture titled The Cube, at the Bournemouth Emerging Arts Festival (BEAF) 2019. The Cube is a geometric sound sculpture inspired by the element of Earth.

During the festival, I will perform ACTS, a series of live sound performances inside The Cube. Using four Himalayan singing bowls, I create resonant vibrations throughout the wooden sculpture. Visitors can enter the space, feel the vibrations, and interact with the sculpture’s surface through touch and listening, creating an immersive sensory experience.

This exhibition is a collaboration with Laura Eldret, who will present her new work, Binder. Her installation explores the haptic qualities of a library and encourages communal engagement. Binder investigates books as shared sensory objects, inviting visitors to connect with literature in new tactile ways.
